Appointments can be made with your preferred doctor. We also try to accommodate walk-in patients (priority is given to those with appointments). Please advise the receptionist if you require a longer appointment.
FEES: we bulk-bill all patients (no extra charges if Medicare card used). Most tests done at Healthscope and Clinpath Pathology & Radiology SA (Port Adelaide) are also bulk-billed. Bulk-billing does NOT apply in cases where Medicare rebates are unavailable (e.g. commercial driving medical examinations). An upfront cash fee of $50 – $100 (depending on type of consultation) is charged if you do not have a Medicare card. All procedures incur a $25 gap fee, with full payment required on the day of the procedure (e.g. excision of skin lesions, Implanon insertion/removal).
AFTER HOURS & HOME VISITS: when our surgery is closed, your call is automatically diverted to the locum service. In the event of an emergency, please call “000”. Please download ManaDr app for teleconsult with our GPs till 11pm from Monday to Friday.
PHONE CALLS to your DOCTOR: a message will be taken if the doctor is in consultation with a patient.
PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY: your health record is a confidential document. We will securely maintain your medical information and access is restricted to authorised staff members.
TEST RESULTS: need to be followed up with your doctor. For privacy reasons, results will not be given over the phone and you will need to make another appointment for them to be explained in person.
PRESCRIPTIONS AND REFERRAL LETTERS: require an appointment and are not provided on phone request.
WORKCOVER AND MOTOR VEHICLE CLAIMS: requires an appointment. Please call reception staff to make an appointment. You may be required to pay for your first consultation but this is reimbursed to you once your claim has been processed and you receive your claim number.
OUR STAFF: our friendly reception staff are available to make bookings and provide assistance.
DOCTORS: all Vocationally Registered and fulfill the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners requirements for continuing medical education and quality assurance.
Emails: We do not encourage email correspondence due to privacy concern
Complaints and suggests: All feedbacks, complaints and suggestions can be addressed to the practice manager.
